I'm planning to go - XJRS might even have squeezed an MOT by then - but wife has said I can only go if I put the car in the 'For Sale' area! So, the car will be in the 'For Sale' area, with a price tag on it, but it's not for sale! Hope to see you all there.

Not confirmed as yet, but we're going to try and arrange a dedicated XJS Parking area at Littlecote. I'll report back here as soon as we have any info. In the meantime, please keep posting your interest here if you're thinking of going, so we get a feel for Forum numbers.

Tks

Dear All
Just back from Cadwell Park :P ..........see elsewhere.
Yes, God Willing we'll be there, I think the idea of a dedicated forum parking area is great. Any chance of a wireless laptop to demo the forum to other owners?
Best Wishes

will be there for the weekend, hopefully the paint on mine will be dry by then! Dedicated parking seems a good idea. David :)

I hope you make it Ralph, I'm looking forward to seeing the car. I noticed on your web site it had a run at Santa Pod recently. I went to the JEC days there a few years ago. Shame it didn't carry on as it was a good day to test, for the racers and the rest of us.

Cheers,
I have to say that drag racing was the most relaxing race i have ever done! Foot to the floor, one gear change and dont crash!
It was a splendid day with all sorts of clasics plus some very fast proper drag racers, very interesting and also very freindly. It was nice to see ordinary people having a go, there was even a Rolls Royce which wafted very slowly up the strip.
There is another Retro and Classics day next year, maybe we could get a few members there?
Tally Ho!

Only a week to go!
Not many replies on this thread, never mind I'm sure you will all be there anyway. I expect we will all end up scattered among the four corners of the wind among the car park, some in their regional displays, others in Concourse/Pride & Joy display, some in race car display, some in the XJS car park section and others in the 'others' car park among the odd Morris Marina and Nissan Sunny (How do they always get in?)

Anyway, keep a lookout for Pop's white 'F' reg 3.6 which will have a Union Flag flying from the aerial! I do hope to meet many of you there.

xjs forum at Littlecote House

Dear All
Is this the best we can do??
ie Nothing
Pop is right, we'll be scatterd to the four corners and if that's the case we'll never meet each other - you know what it's like at big meets.
Any bright ideas as to how to get organised - even if it's only amongst ourselves?
Perhaps we should all have stumped up the fiver (?) and taken over the Pride and Joy area.......Hmm thats an idea for next time

Ralph
I like the idea but I suspect on the day there will be stewards saying "you can't go there, you haven't got the right pass" etc. etc.........
pjts1 - are you there? the natives are getting restless...

Hi Guys,

Apols for the delay in getting back to you!

We're trying to arrange two things for Sunday:

- An XJS Forum marquee which would provide a convenient point for people to meet up, have a chat etc (and shelter if the weather turn on us!)

- A dedicated XJS parking section

Unfortunately we won't know until Fri night, when the organisers set up, if the dedicated parking is going to work out or not. I'll leave an updated post on Friday evening. For those of you who will already have travelled by Friday, you'll have to wait and see if we've managed to crack it. Either way, do come and search out the marquee and come and say Hello!

See you on Sunday.

Drive safely!

Paul

PS Remember to display your XJS Forum Bulletin Board windscreen badges!
