For sale on ebay already!

It's a sign of the times. Most of us have not even seen one on the road yet, but there are already a few F-types for sale via ebay.

As expected, most seem to be 3 litre S models. One has 1049 miles and is up for £75k from a Ford Dealer. Another has 15 miles, lots of optional spec equipment and is up for £86k from Hartwells.

I wonder how long it will be before we see used parts for F-Types on ebay?

Funnily enough, out of curiosity, I checked Jaguar's site for used/approved cars last week and there were no F-types listed. Mike.

Maybe it's got electric front/ rear seat adjustment (a rare option I believe) and a carbon fibre engine cover (£1950), plus carbon fibre mirrors, dash, wheels, door handles, seats, rear view mirror, lumbar supports, cigarette lighter, exhaust finishers, etc. etc. etc.........

Here in Yate the local Citroen/ Peugeot hot hatch lads cornered the carbon fibre market years ago, whether its real or Fablon Im not too sure, but it all looks equally naff.

I think it's a sign of the times that Jaguars are now as Mercs & BMWs have been for some years ie you have to add a lot of options on the base vehicle price to end up with the car that you want.

That 3.0S had the following options on it which seemed to move the price from £67k to £86k. Although when I spec'd the car to this level on the Jaguar website, it indicated the price would be about £77.5k. So the dealer seems to want an £8.5k premium to supply this car immediately!!

Wow, these prices are the speculators banking on a premium from there being a waiting list. Which will be nice for Jaguar. I think I read somewhere they only expect to sell something like 7,000 of them this year, so there may well be a queue.
