Fridge

Postby SimonR » Mon Jun 05, 2006 10:19 pm

I don't know if anyone will be even remotely interested but I have found a car fridge that fits beautifully in the side of an XJ-S boot. I'm doing some Jaguar touring this year and wanted a way of keeping my bacon and eggs and butter cold.

I did a bit of research into the different mini car fridges available and came up with this:

The main features that I am interested in are that it fits neatly into the side of an XJ-S boot and can be left on indefinately. Oh, and that it is able to hold a few beers, eggs, bacon and butter...

I'll report back on power consumption and performance after I've tested it at Le Mans - I have a fully-charged Austin Maestro battery to run it off for about 4 days (Unless GlennH can find an auxillary battery harness that he thinks he may have..)
