Footwell illumination - bulb replacement

Has anyone replaced the bulb in the footwell lights?

My passenger one works fine but the driver's side is in darkness. I can get this done at forthcoming service of course but I like to think I haven't given up on changing bulbs even if everything else is beyond me...

A bit difficult to find the first time, no proper light fitting as such, bulb and holder are door side of the steering column up a good bit, best bet is to point a digital camera up in that direction, fire off a few shots then play hunt the bulb on your pc.

Remove pannel above pedals (4 screws I think ) and all will be revealed.
