X300 Sovereign Alignment

Postby Vonredbeard » Mon May 21, 2012 10:52 pm

I seem to be getting a few different answers when it comes to the question of whether or not the steering alignment on my Sovereign needs to be done with the car weighted or tied down. Is this the case or can I adjust the alignment with the vehicle empty?

Since having the nearside balljoint replaced the alignment has been off. I've done very few miles but noticed that the wheel is off centre, she pulls to the left, and is easier to turn one way than t'other - so I'm keen to sort it out ASAP.

Thanks in advance!

bring it down here, take it to my man in the village and have it four wheeled laser alligned, he's good as you know, cost circa 30 quid, but it will be right and done while you wait (weight!!)
