Pollen filter

Postby andypryce » Sat Mar 10, 2012 8:21 pm

Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the pollen filter? Getting a musty smell from air con, I suspect pollen filter has never been changed...

Thanks, andyp.

Try this, Andy.

Start the clock and see how long it takes you!

I need to do this on my S-type as I am also getting a slight pong. I shall be spraying some Autoglym deodoriser into the ducts with the fan running which I hope might help.

Thanks to Mike, removed filter, actually looks ok, so ordered some autoglym air conditioner deodoriser, will see if that helps.

Obviously moved in the redesign from the S-type which had it under the front scuttle panel,ie effectively just below where the tax disc is sited.

The reason for the move is curious. Maybe due to difficulties with having to release the scuttle panel clips and needing at least to remove the passenger side wiper blade on an S. Who knows?
