Just a quick hello from Northern Ontario , Canada
I recently purchased a 2000 XK8 Conv. in wonderful condition. She only has 64000 kms on her and has never seen snow. My other girl is a 1966 MGB Roadster which I just love.
Cannot wait for the snow to bugger off so I can enjoy my girls.
Cheers
Greetings and Salutations

Welcome to the fold! Having had a tiny amount of snow here in the UK recently, I can understand your reluctance to use your 'new' XK8 in it. However, as soon as it clears, I'll bet you won't be able to remove the grin from your face. Happy XK8 motoring!

Re: Greetings and Salutations
Greetings all,
I've had mine ten years, do I get a prize?
Let me down three times, twice it was the gearbox feedback rotary switch and the third time operator error: started, moved a few metres then switched off. Would it start the next time, ...no. Called rescue service and learn't the "if you start it let it warm up before switching it off" lesson.
Mine's a LHD blue convertible too, imported from Germany.

Re: Greetings and Salutations
Hi all,
I have the opportunity to purchase a 96 XK8 convertible in France, its and ex UK car registration 381DWL does anyone know who the previous UK owner was. the car has 102K mile on the clock with gearbox and top and bottom tensioners changed at 75K miles so I would guess should be in reasonable nick, I have not seen it yet but have a load of pic sent to me
Thanks richard
