Hello again I have eventually found my way back to the new web site. No excuses except that I did the 3 peaks challenge at the end of July and 'training' took up quite a lot of my time.
I traded the 2.7 SE for a STR last October after doing around 45000 miles in 2.5 years without any problems. I'm amazed that the STR has now covered around 15000 miles mostly up and down the motorway where its a wonderfully smooth cruiser due to the CATS suspension. The car is of course pretty quick in drive and exceptional using the other side of the J gate.
I've posted some pictures to show the details.
I had one eventful run down M6 where an exhaust box fell off a van and I had no option but to hit it. Fortunately by actually driving over it with the right hand wheel damage was limited to paint work on the front valance.

Later I found cracks around both front tyres, Continentals, where the tread meets the sidewall. I first thought it was down to hitting the exhaust but then I found the other tyre was the same. Continental have agreed they were faulty and I replaced them with a pair of Bridgestones.
