Hello all, can anyone advise me on what i need to acquire to carry out the conversion from LHD to RHD and what, if any parts can i retain to do the switch in order to keep costs down. Subject car is a 1968 series 1 1/2 4.2.
Amendment to ad:
Is there any alternative power assisted rack i use other than E Type. I would expect a long search to find a rack from an E Type.
Thanks Eugene.

Hi
For starters:
Steering Rack
Both side dash panels
Pedal Housing
Steering col shroud (fitted on engine side of bulkhead)
Headlights
Brake/Clutch res' brkts
I don't know if your ignition key is dash or col' mounted, if col' then it might end up on the wrong side of the col, if that bothers you. You will also have to turn the wiper crank arm through 180 degrees and buy 3 wiper arms to be correct. Fit new brake pipework and clutch pipes as necessary.
Regards
Pat

Forgot to add... only need to change the pedal housing if you have the early cast/fabricated housing, if the later then you will need to alter the angle of the clutch pedal

Eugene,
On top of what Pat mentioned you will either have to replace the wiring harness or extend the one you have.
The wipers arms can be heated and cranked the opposite way then polished.
The steering column can be simply turned through 180 and the so the indicator stalk is on the correct side.
Accelerator linkage, though some of it can be shortened and reused.
The rear/front sidelight and indicator light lenses may also be different depending on where the car came from.
There maybe some other small items that I can't remember just now.
As for where you get the parts from it depends on whether you want original or repro parts, any of the usual vendors sell each part, people like RM&J Smith will sell you original parts but they are expensive.
If you want power assisted steering a good alternative is the electric power steering that Uryk from E-type fabs has started to manufacture.
Do a Google search for E-Type fabs.
