i live in gloucester ( south west midlands ) and need a few things for my 1989 V12 sport, and prolly a lot of things i dont need but might just buy,

the spares day is held at Stonleigh National Agricultural Centre in Warwickshire which is well sign posted as you get close
it is this coming Sunday 23 Oct and gates open at 10am

well worth a visit especially if you have never been before, there are more jag spare part dealers and others big and small than you will find anywhere else in one place

there's an ad on page 28 of the oct JEC mag

most traders wont take credit cards, so its fairly safe in your pocket unless you are dealing with the big guys
You need a pocketfull of cash and you will probably have no problem spending it all

Thanks for the headsup guys,
am deffo gona make it on Sunday, and gona bring a little cash and me cheque book, lol

after a few xjs panels , and a few trim items, plus some leccy bits

so i might come away with a whole car, lol

the spares day also reminded me to send in the raffle tokens for my new XK8 , i say mine, cuz i'm gona win it , lol , in my dreams at least,

Bringing this topic back to the top as the Spring spares day isn't too far away.
Have you all been compiling a 'wants list'? I usually have one, but at the moment (fingers crossed), everything is working well. I will still go as something useful will catch my eye

Even closer is the ALL JAGUAR SPARES DAY, on Sunday, February 12th 2006 - at Farnham Maltings, Farnham. Not as good as Stoneleigh in my view, but worth a visit. You often find that prices are keener at these early year events, particularly if weather is bad!

might need a front crossmember for 1992 xjs do you think farnham is worth a try, or anywhere else ? any clue's to what I would pay for a good one? and anybody got the address for the spare day please, I am coming down from ayrshire scotland.

Wullie, for details of All Jaguar Spares day at Farnham, go to JDC web page, then link to registers -> E-Type Register -> Mrs Petronela Payne. Give her a 'phone she is organising the event.
There must be someone very important going, as it seems quite hard to find details.

Do you mean the front subframe, or the top crossmember, or the x-brace convertible crossmember? If it's the front subframe, have a look at this:

yep thats the boy in ebay i will ask some questions about it make sure it's not accident damaged or rusted in at the spring turets etc. thanks for letting me know about it.
