2.4 body colour

I am new to the website, but have owned my Mk2 2.4 for nearly 4 years and now I want to do some light bodywork repairs. my local paintshop could not find the colour so they mixed me up a couple of spray cans using the rear spat as a guide to allow me to paint the wheels, but the colour is very slightly off

I wish to find out the correct colour grey it is. The log book states grey and the Heritage Certificate states mist grey.

Is there a colour chart I can look it up on?

Hi Steveo, i had this problem a while ago but i didn't even know what colour my mk 2 was so i contacted some one in the technical part of this very site and a very helpfull man gave me lots of useful info and i think he said they had all jag colour charts .Unfortunately i can't remember his name but if you send an email to jec i'm sure you will find him as i did. Steve,
the original ICI paint code for Jaguar Mist Grey is P030-3154. If your paint shop can spray a test card of this colour for you, you'll be able to compare it to the car. It might not match precisely, as modern 2-pack or water-based paint may not provide exactly the same tone as the original cellulose.
