Memory Seats

I seem to have picked up a minor glitch where the memory seats are not moving the seat forwards or backwards.

Head rest, seat tilt and steering wheel all move fine, but I would have to adjust the position of the seat myself.

Any ideas what may be causing the problem?

One possibility is you have got the seat memorised to its maximum, try adjusting it halfway and then memorise it ........i had a similar problem with the steering wheel automatic lift along with the seat and this was the trouble............the memory process is worth having a close look at just in case you have missed some part of the procedure...Joe

It did work at one stage but now has stopped The Chair also does not move back when the key is removed from the ignition.

I have a friend who can also drive the car and is very tall compared to my meagre 5'8" but when I press the setting I saved the back and forward motion is the only part of the chair movement that does not alter.

I'll double check setting the memory with the owners manual as you suggest.
