I have just successfully retro-fitted the Jaguar Alpine Sat-Nav system to my 2001 X308.
Hopefully the details will appear sometime on the X308 Forum page in the magazine but this post is to let anyone interested know that it can be done.
For a 2001 model year or later car (because it has the later complete ICE/NAV wiring loom) it is a practical, DIY ,plug in and go project.
This assumes availability of servicable parts at reasonable prices !
Used parts can be obtained...... at reasonable cost..... from Eurojag and others.
All the parts are still available new from your Jaguar dealer......but it will cost you the thick end of two thousand pounds !!
