Hi
My front brake discs now require changing, so I am considering changing the rear discs at the same time. Is this a difficult job for DIY?

Hi Alan,
If you are a competent DIY mechanic used to other cars or Jaguar models, a disc change on an XK8 will hold no real surprises for you. Just make sure that the hub surfaces are scrupulously cleanto avoid introducing excessive run-out and consequent wheel wobbles under braking. Also, for safety's sake, ensure you renew any threadlocked caliper bolts. Mike.
