Outside Car Cover

Bought cover from main stealer 8 months ago. It ripped due to winds within 2months took it back to stealer who replaced it after 3months. 3 months later it has ripped again in the same place by boot strap. So I would not recommend them. Can anyone recommend a cover that can cope with todays winds.

I bought a Covercraft cover for my XJS five years ago. It was the most expensive of the ones I looked at - around £280 I think, but it has been superb. It transferred to the XK8 I bought two years ago, although I had to use clips and rubber ropes front and back to make sure it didn't blow off. I live in suburbia, not on the moors, but there have been gusty gales every so often. It is soft on the inside, and seems to polish the paintwork with the slight motion. There are no rips, but I suspect the proofing is deteriorating. I plan to replace it with the same this winter.
