For those of you with the AJ16 engine you can think of this as a two door XJ6 (XJ40). There is an ODBII connector under the panel in the passenger's footwell.

I just purchased a reader from http://www.talktomycar.co.uk/ and can confirm it works a treat. These early system do not have as much diagnostic capabilities as the newer ones but you can still get a lot of useful information and read/reset fault codes.

I got a simple reader that plugs in to a laptop, a very economical solution :D
