Beg, borrow or steal.
I prefer not to borrow, and definately not going to resort to stealing yet.
But has anyone got any of the following for sale?
XJS Rear shocks and springs (pref gas adjust/ height adj coilovers)
Radius arm bushes, or complete radius arms with bushes.
Sports air filter K&N, piper cross etc.
Front lower radiator crossmember, by the way has anyone had a go at making one of these? or repairing.
Twin headlight conversion.
Twr type bumpers, and or side skirts.
Rear boot spoiler.
Oh sod it!! has anyone got a good xjs that needs nowt doing to it?
Any help with any of the above would be appreciated.

You should be able to obtain the things you need from :-

Shocks- Spax for adjustable; Jag Classic spares for original pattern.
Bushes, General Spares and 4Headlamp conv. - SNG Barratt.
K+N air filters - AJ6 Engineering.

I have dealt with all these firms and found them helpful and reliable. Original pattern shocks are much more expensive than Spax but I took advice from several experts and used them anyway as they do preserve the original ride quality. If you want to make it into a tighter handling car you will probably prefer the Spax and they can be obtained with height and hardness adjustability.

If you need a full refurb take it to KWE if you can afford it or at least for advice. They have a mouth watering website and some members went there on a visit last year and could no doubt tell you more. The XJS used by James May on his wine TV trip with Oz Clarke was one of theirs.
