Pink or yellow coolant?

Which is it pink or yellow
Many moons ago I bought some coolant for my XK8. Researched it checked what was in there and pink was the one to get.
So ordered some jaguar stuff of the right part number/ code from somewhere (SNG or British parts not sure) to keep in stock . It came in jaguar bottles sealed so didn't open as I was not going to use it yet, right numbers so I thought all was correct. Got it out the other day to do a coolant change. And it's yellow not pink as expected

Question is. What is right. I thought I had sorted it long ago , but not so sure now

I have a sticker by the coolant reservoir with the coolant type on it.
Not sure if the XK8 has one.

Also have this info on XK8 coolant taken from Technical Support and Communications Jaguar Cars Limited Publication Part No. JJM 10 34 99/40.

Yes I have the same. So that's what I got, I thought.
Suppose you could say the coolant in my XK8 is orange.. I'll have to find some one with pink coolant to compare. But the yellow stuff just seems odd.

Hi fungus221,
The WSS-M97B44-D number relates to the Ford coolant they used which is an OAT coolant.
So any coolant which meets OAT specs should be ok.
This is the coolant I use.

I have used this for several years now with no problems.
