Yesterday's XJ coupe gathering alongside the track at Brands Hatch where the Jaguar saloons were racing was a great day out. Only the weather conspired against us! There were so many enthusiastic conversations about the model, I lost count. All variations attended from 4.2 Jaguars to V12 Daimler convertibles, not forgetting the star of the Wheeler Dealers show and the Broadspeed coupe. There was even a V12 wearing US spec bumpers with a mysterious history behind it. if you weren't there, you missed some great camaraderie and lovely cars! Mike.
