Gear shifter/knob

Maybe a silly question ... But .. On the Celebration model the can "round" gear knob (same as in the XK8) been easily exchanged for the earlier gear shifter from the pre facelift model? Thanks.

erm..
if you have a ' t-bar ' shifter, then no , without changing the whole gear selector lever
if you already have a round gear knob , then yes, as Jaguar uses an 8mm thread on all screw on gear knobs ,
the only ones that won't look right are later X-type etc models that have the lift up reverse collar on the shifter
