Does anyone know if a 1978 XJS headlining will fit into a 1986 XJS ?
Thanks

No replies to your post so I guess no-one knows, neither do I !
...........However, my '89 headlining was suffering from the usual problems, bits dropping out, material falling down to hide your view of the road etc.
I took the car to a professional trimmer - headlining out, stripped, re-furbished and finished in the trim of my choice (inc. D-post trims).
Result Awesome, cost @£200. The best money I've spent on the car, three years later it's still perfect.
Perhaps this is the way to go?
