Anyone out there have any experience of the spacers fitted to the exhaust manifold to down pipe joint on v12 facelifts with the 6.0 litre engine?I've just taken off the exhaust and A bank manifolds and was looking at the parts breakdown when I noticed spacers.
They are not optional and unfortunately cover my model. Two per engine or one per bank.
The only thing I can think of is they alter the angle of the cat/down pipe where it meets the mid section for the purpose of clearing the gearbox.
Do they go on the front seal or the rear?
It doesn't say as required so that must mean they are fitted.
No spacer came out and as a precaution I ordered 2.
