Hi everybody,
On my 2.2 d Se X type key fob there is a button which should flash the headlamps if it is pressed on approach to the vehicle. Well, it doesn't appear to do anything when I press the said button. I assume it should work on this car. Any suggestions please ?
Chris Bartram.

Re: Key Fob.
Peter Silva has asked me to post the following on his behalf:
I recently had a problem with the keys on my 2008 x-type diesel estate. I had to keep on programming my keys to the car and often had to open the door manually. I found out about the Keyrepair Company and sent them one of my keys to repair. For a cost of £15, the key was repaired and sent back to me by return. I could not believe that it had been so quick and I was so pleased with the service that I sent my second key off with the resulting excellent service.
The following are the details of the company:
Key Repair Co UK, 12 Kingsbridge Cottages, Pembroke, Pembrokeshire SA71 4BD. Tel: 07527 031512
key@keyrepair.co.uk
I thought the above may be useful to other members who may have similar problems.
Best wishes
