Best company to re-trim E-Type interior, hood & boot..?

Postby KarlJeffery » Tue Mar 20, 2012 1:17 pm

Hello,

I have a beautiful E-Type Series 1 4.2 Roadster. It is an Eagle engineered E-Type so all of the mechanical side is fully upgraded and in perfect condition. I now need to get the interior fully re-trimmed (including the seats / leather), the boot relined and the hood frame & cover replaced. Eagle will only deal with first time customers and because I bought my car from the person that bought it from Eagle they refuse to help me with this - booh!

Could anyone recommend a reliable, professional company that could do this work for me? The car is a treasured possession so I want a top-class / AAA job done - I am sure we all feel the same about our cars!

Many thanks for you help,

Karl.

Hi Karl

If you want a top class job then I have no hesitation in recommending Suffolk & Turley in Nuneaton. I have seen many examples of their work and am always very impressed at the craftsmanship. They aren't cheap, but you did say you wanted a top class job.

There are others around, all of whom are good but, to me, S & T are the stand out firm.

Regards
Stuart

Hi Karl,

Uptons & Son in Hastings would be the way to go. They do most of CKL Developments trim work, and have done bits for Henry at Eagle too. They also do our retrims :-) Dave Upton is a first class trimmer - and bloody nice bloke.
I will try and get his phone number tomorrow.

All the best,
Keith
