xj8 newbie head gasket trouble

Hi all just bought my first jaguar xj8 3.2 98 with 82k fsh i`ve been enjoying driving around in it for the last 3 weeks even though its started developing a problem loosing coolant needing to top up every other day,Eventually traced to the blow off tank under the offside front wheel after lots of investigating the cooling system etc etc it turns out to be the head gasket (iam gutted) something the previous owner failed to mention.I`m a pretty handy with spanners so decided to tackle the job myself as the repair work would likely cost more than the car is worth.Any pointers or advice anybody can share would be great,I have ordered my jtis manual its on the way wish me luck with getting this old bird on the road again.
