Re: Lamba sensor question
depends on the engine and year,
1999 and after generally have four sensors , two upstream and two downstream
the pre 1999 ones have two sensors , the same as the later downstream ones
there is a known issue with them that the multi plug onto the sensor , or the loom can fail , usually minor contact corrosion, and can be rescued , try unplugging and reconnecting before anything else, but they are hard to get to
bad new is they are very expensive, around £100 each or more if they have failed
good luck

Re: Lamba sensor question
Thank's for that, will pop the car into local specalist to have them checked. I tried the new classic parts site but can't get the prices, can see the drawings but the other fields will not let me fill in. I have logged on and I am a member.
