Any one tackled this job ? I have done a few but the size of the v12 is daunting and I assume its an engine out job, if so does this mean bonnet off ? asking as it took 7 days to line up last time it was refitted. Can the box be dropped from underneath ?
OR !!!!!!
Any one know of a garage in poole or bournemouth that will do it and at what price. Nothing actually wrong at present but bearing is rumbling and sods law says it will go.
With engine hot what would be the normal revs in neutral with choke off.
Gave the car a bit of a blip on the by pass all went fine until I overtook a Renault Magane and saw the 2 coppers in it ***+£^%
slowed down and they overtook me with the older one wagging his finger...BONUS

Hi John,
Result with the coppers!
From memory - the V12 has to come out the top. We drop 6's out from underneath, but pretty sure the 12 doesn't fit - I would need to double check with John on Monday at work.
We are not a million miles away - Eastbourne. PM me if you get stuck
All the best,
Keith

Hi
Its bonnet off, rad out, top of picture frame off and slide the whole eng/gb assy through the picture frame and upwards, easier than a six.
In terms of your bonnet alignment, if you undo the 2 3/8 unf that hold the hinges to the bonnet frame and slide off the top hats the adjustment is saved and there will be no need to worry about realignment.
Best of luck
Regards
Pat
