Anyone out there injected a V12? I've thought about fitting an HE engine with all the gear from an XJS or whatever but as my engine is low on miles am also thinking of converting it to injection.
Fuel injected V12s
Re: Fuel injected V12s
You need to contact AJ6 engineering. For about £20 they will email you a PDF with all the info you need.
Its then best to buy a doner car XJS. The EFI system is self contained and the harness does come out in one length (from back to front)
There will be some mods to the thermostat housings but most of the bits fit OK
I am also converting but not there yet.

Re: Fuel injected V12s
Hi Guys
I have had my 1973E type since 1980 and am in the process of converting it to computer control of petrol and ignition. This means I will not be using a Jaguar ECU as promoted by AJ6 Engineering, but have used many of his other suggestions. I have had to make up a loom for the injectors and the ignition and have had a big problem getting the old injector plugs, any help on this front will be useful. I am using 6 Range Rover coils as fitted to the Gems RR and will be firing two cylinders simultaneously. One cylinder will be on the firing stroke and the other cylinder will be on the exhaust stroke, which will give me semi sequential control using wasted spark ignition. I won't write too much more as I am not sure what interest is out there for such a to some sacrilegious conversion. If there is interest I will pursue the thread and could even include some picks of my unusual solutions to an engine that was NEVER designed to run with carbs.
