Does anyone know if it is possible to fit mk2 bumpers on a 340 without altering the rear body work?

I believe that the answer is NO, because the 340 has a different rear valance to cater for the slim bumpers.

Are you ashamed of your 340? I think thet the slim bumpers on mine are great!

Webman is correct. Although the front bumper is a straightforward swap (once you've changed the mounting brackets) the rear valance has to be modified to fit the back one.

Might be in the minority but I actually prefer the slimmer bumpers on the 240 / 340 series.

I think it adds to the sleek lines and makes the car look wider.

Take a look at the side by side photos in Nigel Thorleys Jag Mk 2 "Great Cars" book...............
