Hi,
My 4.0 Celebration has a leaky pipe part no MHD7360BC. We have tried to track down a replacement from all the usual sources including breakers without success. I live in Cornwall and there appears to be no one locally who can help.
I would be very greatful if anyone could advise where I could obtain a replacement.
Many thanks Keith.

This is the all metal pipe that runs from the receiver drier to the bulkhead, right?
If none of the usual suspects (Grublogger, Eurojags &c) have a used one, can you take the original to a pipe fabricator? It doesn't look too outrageously difficult, and a google search of 'air conditioning hoses Cornwall' should bring up a few phone numbers to ring. Failing that there are national chains of pipe fabricators who could probably help.

Best of luck with this. It is worth the tussle with the aircon to get it right as it works well when in order. I needed the long pipe from the compressor to the bulkhead about 3 years ago and got one from Classic Spares . It seems to need attention again now, hopefully just a re-gas.Let us know how you get on.

Keith, has the bendy hose part of the tube failed? If so a hydraulic hose specialist would be able to replace just that part as long as you let them know its an AC line.

Many thanks to all who gave feedback.
I have located a replacement from Grubloger which will hopefully cure the problem. I will give an update on the outcome.
Regards Keith.

I wonder if you managed to solve the leaky a/c pipe problem...I am very interested as my XJS has a similar leak, and locating a replacement new or used, or a repairer has been impossible! My local specialist has tried and to date failed too. Any help would be very much appreciated.
I'm told the problem seems to be that Celebration models (and possibly others) use thin alloy pipe which corrodes internally and pinhole leaks appear. No longer available new, and repairs are difficult due to the nature of the pipework. There must be a company able to supply to the same pattern as Jaguar OE!!

hello John,
I managed to get a replacement from Gruglogger and seems to be OK at present. David Marks was very helpful and suggested that if they cannot get replacements he gets them repaired. might be worth asking him who he goes to for repairs. Good luck! Regards Keith.

Hello Keith, thank you for your advice, I have been in touch with Graham at Grubloggers, he certainly seems helpful, I'll let you know how I get on. On another subject, I asked him for another item, hard to get door rubber seals and he has been just as helpful again.

I know I'm bringing an old thread back to life, but has anyone found a way round this issue? The part continues to be unavailable.
My own approach was to buy the CCC4558 part which is the same pipe but lacking the boss for the pressure switch fitted to the later models. I had a boss turned up and then had the pipe welded into it. This wasn't easy as the pipe is thin alloy.
Has anyone overcome this issue in any other way?
