Hi,
I have a 2003 XK8 with headlight washers that are working but the offside one doesn't retract back into place as the washer unit clip has become detached from its fixing point under the headlight.
Does anyone know if it can be re-fixed without the headlight being removed?
Maybe through the wheel arch liner access panel or is it possible to do it with maybe a pair of chopsticks through the aperture where it should retract to .............keyhole surgery style?
Headlight washers.

Re: Headlight washers.
Removing the headlamp isn't difficult (3 fixings plus the wheel arch liner clips & the electrics plug), so it's probably quicker to do that than spending time working around the problem. You also need to establish if either of the washer tangs are broken, causing it to have come loose. Mike.

Cheers Mike .............I'll put the chopsticks away then!

Here’s a very useful video on removing the headlamp.

If your cover is broken then it’s probably going to be a second hand or aftermarket option as Jaguar don’t seem to have any new ones.
