XK150 2008 Roof Inoperative

The convertible roof has suddenly stopped working. Message on the dash reads “Luggage Cover not in place”.
I had not moved or touched the luggage cover. I have tried removing and repositioning the cover but to no avail.
What I believe to be the metal sensors/contacts appear to be intact.
Has anyone any ideas as to what the issue may be? Are there more than 2 sensors? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The metal contact had fallen out of the luggage cover catch…….Simple fix
