Brake wear

Hi all, my car is a 2019 Sportbrake. Now on 21000 miles, the rear pads are almost worn, but the fronts still have a good amount left, is that normal? I am wondering if the brakes on the Sportbrake are set up to deliver more braking power to the rear than the front, as it's an estate? Just seems odd, and never had a car where the rear pads wear out quicker than the front before.
