I know this is always a hot topic, but has anyone used this oil?

I need to service my 89 V12 XJS and have been looking at oils. I believe in the past the guys who've serviced the car have used mineral 20w50, but I like the idea of going synthetic....and there aren't too many around.
I do less than 1000 miles per year in the car and trying to get away from annual oil changes.
So I guess the question is, do I just stick with a cheaper 20w50 mineral oil and religiously change every year, or go for a more expensive synthetic that may offer benefits in terms of being cleaner, better overall for the engine and slightly longer lasting.

Re: Engine oil again- 89 V12
If your going to change it every year then the mineral oil will be fine. The semi synthetic I'll last longer but if you're doing so few miles you're never going to break down the structure of the polymers.
