New XK8 owner

Hi all,
This week I became the proud owner of a 2005 XK8 in Platinum Metallic paint. The car has just over 42k miles on the clock and has had 7 previous owners.

The car was built on 25th February 2005 and registered to its first owner on 30th June 2005. The car was originally sold by Strathstone Jaguar of Stoke on Trent.

I am long time classic car owner (even owning a late 60's S Type at one time) so I know the value of these forums.

I look forward to getting great advice from the JEC community over the next few years and hopefully meeting some of you at some forthcoming events.

Get ready to enjoy driving again. These cars are such a pleasure to drive with a super mixture of performance, ride and handling. Not only that, they aren't the gas guzzlers the uninitiated accuse them of being. The JEC has a large section of the monthly 140 page magazine devoted to modern XKs and specific XK events too - plenty for aficionados to read about and join in. Mike.

Sounds like a good car with only 42000 miles,which is nothing on these engines.
The XK8 and XJ8 are a real pleasure to drive and hope you enjoy every moment of it.
