Flexible brake pipe replacement

My tip of the day for renewing the flexible brake hoses on the front calipers.

READ THE MANUAL!

It’s imperative that you support the connections at the respective ends when undoing the flexible pipe.
The connection inside my 420 engine bay on the offside is particularly difficult to get to but you MUST have a spanner on it, otherwise you’ll wreck the brake pipe just like I did. It’s a two-person job.

In fact, by far the more sensible approach is to disconnect the nut on the metal brake pipe fitting BEFORE removing the flexible pipe.
