dash warning lights playing up

Hi There. I got the rear brake pads done on my 89 v12 convertible. when I got it back today the handbrake lights on the dash are acting up..they come on when its engaged but glow when its disengaged and when I press the brakes they go out, but lamp warning light comes on.. brake lights are working fine. Any ideas?
