Which fuel?

Postby Coombsnut » Mon Jun 19, 2017 5:58 pm

Anyone got words of wisdom on which fuel to use in an F Type S. The dealer advised to just use standard fuel. I'm not so convinced. Any advice please? Choices are 95, 97, or Ultra Unleaded. I nearly always use BP.

Best advice for the minimum octaine fuel requirement will be found in the drivers hand book set included with the car. It will also detail tyre pressures, oil and coolant specification and lighting lamp types.

I've started using " BP 97 Ron with active Technology" I saw their test video out in Geneva which showed some very impressive detergent capability. Do some googling on it. You may be as impressed as I was!

I run the XFR on either BP ultimate or Shell V-power ultimate, it might be placebo effect but she just seems to run better, smoother, idle and seems to pull better.

Will we all be using ASPEN in the future as it is a much cleaner fuel and doesn't go off if the vehicle is stored. .???
