7 years with an XKR convertible

Postby hampton » Fri Apr 28, 2017 8:58 pm

We bought our 17 year old XKR convertible privately 7 years ago and it is in the May 2017 magazine
We have had no trouble with it at all and have spent virtually nothing on it in that time apart from :
A thermostat
Top tensioners
Supercharger belt and fan belt
Lower suspension bushes
Servicing
That's it !!!
My point :
Buy carefully from a long term owner who has every MOT and these cars are nothing to be scared of and are the best value Jaguars ever
By the way it still has its original Nikasil engine and runs beautifully but ok it's now only done 38000 miles
So go out , buy wisely and enjoy !!!!

Nice to hear such praise for the XK8, and I look forward to reading the article in Mays edition of the magazine. It's certainly going to get a good run out next weekend.
