xj6 series 3 blower motor switch

Here is another simple question for you:
is the blower motor switch common to all series 3 cars?

My car is a 3.4 and has a blue vacuum pipe connected to it................

Not a definitive answer but I'd suspect not. Aircon cars have a switch which pulls out to switch off the aircon compressor as well as turning to give different blower speeds. Hence, without checking all the parts books, I'd be surprised if the two switches were the same. Mike.

Hmm, I think you may well be right Mike. The pull feature is also on our XJS; it has air-con and suggests the switches are different.
