Hi. Stupidly I tried to raise the convertible roof while the "bag" covering the soft top was still in place (in my defence I was distracted)!!!! However, apart from the leather splitting by the left side tannin clip there seemed to be no other problem. The top closed correctly and locked in place (after removing the bag) but on remotely locking the car, the passenger door handle kept locking and releasing and then the alarm sounded. I can lock the car with the key, but not the remote. The problem seems to be located on the passenger handle, which was not the cause if the problem. Any ideas how I can reset the central locking/alarm?

Re: Central locking and alarm problem
Since the roof closing routine seems to have generated the problem, it's possible that one of the steps involved became either out of sequence or similar. Hence, a good first step would be to start the car and then cycle the roof up and down several times. I would try this simple task before assuming the problem to be more complicated. Mike.
