Hi BB,
I enjoyed the last Kemble visit. Aeroplane's, cars, good company, sunshine, and a good breakfast, what more can you ask for, despite arriving in an imaginary XJ !

Ah, the 'Spirited Drive Back'.
I think that I have heard of it Officer but I was just straight lining the curves to save petrol and wear on the tyres.
I'm environmentally friendly me.
Yes, I know that it says V12 on the back but what a lot of people don't realise is that the V12 XJS has a built in fuel saving mode by mostly running on only 9 or 10 cylinders; this was invented way before stop/start or hybrid tech stuff was foisted upon us.
Take a little more care? Of course I will Officer, and you have a good evening too.

I'm planning to be there also.
Nice write up in the magazine this month and pictures of the 3 XJS's present and my engine! If I'd realised there was going to be a photo of my engine bay I'd have given it a bit more of a polish!!

once small downer on the trip back, an accident in Stroud ( scenic route ) left me stood in traffic with the car getting hotter and hotter, so i broke free of the jams, and went up a steep hill, behind a land rover towing a trailer, at 15mph , so my car got really hot by the time i got to the top, to the point she was getting quite lumpy , luckily it was about 8 miles down hill the other side and she soon returned to a respectable temperature
