Mysterious Water Ingress

I have a 58 plate modern xk150 Coupe which is be-deviled with a leak into the rear passenger footwell. The presumed rainwater collects, even though the car is not much used at the moment, and has to be removed manually by soaking up with a large sponge. Clearly this situation has to be resolved to avoid long term damage to wiring/electrical problems.
Has any one suffered a similar problem or can offer advice as to the best way to proceed

Although the water may collect in the rear of the car, it's not unknown for the infamous 'duck's bill', responsible for releasing aircon condensate to the underside of the car, to be the culprit. Consequently, while you are looking for leaks, it's worth checking that the duck's bill isn't blocked/distorted. Mike.

Another common issue is the seals around the rear hatch, check them all to make sure none are split, there is a guy on you tube who had issues with this, see link attached

Hi mikeamyers536,
One of the quickest ways to find a water leak in your car is with a smoke test so I'm led to believe.
