The interior light, rear, mapping lights, footwell lights and lights on both of the vanity mirrors sited behind the sun shade flaps plus the drivers door puddle light have all decided to stop working. Everything else appears OK. I've checked various fuses including (No 6 in the fuse unit on the drivers side) but nothing seems amiss. There are no faults showing. Can anyone suggests what's happening and give me any clues as how to get everything working again?
Also whilst taking everything apart I've noticed under the black cowling that sits behind the rear view mirror there is a loose push fit electrical connector. It is served by three wires colour coded White/green, Black/green and Yellow/Brown. There doesn't appear to be anything to plug it into. Can anyone suggest what it is please?

Re: Internal Light problems
Hi Mike,
Does you car have the electrochromic auto dimming mirror? I don't know if it was standard across all the range or not. But if you don't then it could be for that.
If you do and it is plugged in then I'm as stumped as you.
No idea about the lights apart from a dodgy fuse.
Good luck
Tony

Re: Internal Light problems
Tony,
Many thanks for the reply.
I have no idea about the auto-dimming mirror. I will investigate. I've also just noted that the memory buttons on the drivers door are also u/s as are the controls for both wing mirrors. I didn't notice them before I just hope this particular 'Gremlin' isn't multiplying
