Sump drain plug

Postby TheColonel » Sun May 09, 2021 7:36 pm

I have recently bought a 2001 3.0 V6 SE and am planning to do an oil change shortly. Does the drain plug have a copper crush washer and if so can anyone advise either the part number or inside diameter please?

Go to British Car Parts Jaguar, they have a variety of Sump Plugs and Washers, Alternatively AutoParts Jaguar or SNG Barratt, Just put in your Model and VIN.

My 2004 Diesel sump plug had an integral seal which Jaguar stated should be renewed every service at a cost of about £7.00 each. I did that for the first couple of services then used the old ones after that which didn't show any signs of a leak.
