Dexron 3 equivalent?

Good morning,

Upon checking, I've just found my PAS fluid level to be low, but have no Dexron 3 on hand for replenishment. Are other fluids compatible?

Advice appreciated.

Hi John.
I'm not sure about mixing different types of oil together is a good idea.
But the amount you need to top up would not be very much so long as it's ATF it should be ok.

Thanks for the advice Andy. In fact it took very little ATF to bring the reservoir level back to normal. I had a bottle of Mannol ATF-A fluid in the garage, which I'm pretty sure I bought for a previous X308.
