Does anyone know what fault code P1571 means ref Electric Park Brake.

Remember that the code points towards the fault or defective unit. It does not always give a definitive answer as the fault may just be down to a corroded connector or duff wiring.

I typed in Jaguar P1571 and as you say I gots loads of sites, mainly in America. There seems to be a number of results for the P1571 code, eg, Limp Home, Cruise Control Failure, Park Brake Switch, and the one I thought, low voltage from Battery. Other possibilities were damaged wiring around the motor /chassis area, dirt making the caliper stick and corrosion on connectors. One thing I wondered was :- is Jaguar Programming different for American models. This, because on one of the sites, a procedure was given on how to set/recalibrate the Park Brake. The first thing was to restart engine then press the footbrake firmly 5 times, you get the word Calibrating in the message centre. I tried and it didn't work I got no further than that, no message.
I've changed my battery Bosch premium. Fault has happened again once, so I'm waiting to see.

What car? Your signature shows an S type and an XF, neither of which are X350's!

If it is an X350, 'P' don't apply to the parking brake, according to my listing for X350 - they' all 'B's, 'C's and 'U's.

Yes my current cars are an S Type and an XF and for the record a very reliable BMW Mini Clubman Estate which recently replaced an even more reliable Mini Cooper D (110,000 miles and not a single fault) far outstripping the Jaguars. The Electronic Park Brake components are common to the X350 ,S-Type and XF, so the "programming" by Jaguar is as quirky as ever. My fault has gone since changing the battery, see the XF forum.
