Driver's heated seat not working

Postby AJSV8 » Sat Nov 09, 2019 10:13 am

Brrr it is feeling cold and my seat does not warm up :( I have read up on this and seen it could be a simple fix of wiggling the cables beneath the seat, done that no change. How likely is it going to be the heating elements in the seat if their are any :? or does it just have vent fans. The passenger seat heats up fine and when I switch on the driver's seat I hear the fans whirl up just like the passenger's but no heat :?

I`d start the diagnosis by checking basics first ie, fuse condition. See the table of fuses in the owners hand book. Sometimes, a fuse diagram can also be found in the lid of a fuse box. You will probably have three fuse boxes ie under bonnet, down to the right on the drivers A post and also one in the wheel well in the boot.

Hope that helps.
