Welcome! If you've only just acquired your XK, you still have plenty of smiles to come. They really are fabulous machines, a great mix of GT and sports car. Try participating in one of our modern XK events to share your enjoyment with like-minded enthusiasts. Several are in the planning for 2020. We have some fun times together which you can also read about in the JEC magazine. Mike.

Hello and welcome,
Hope you enjoy your new car.
I only ever hear good things about these cars :D .
Looks great from behind.
Sorry I can't advise on a Jag Specialist near you myself but a chap I know on the X308 Facebook Page takes his XJR to Mike Allen near Swindon.
Here's the link anyway:

Enjoy the club.
Take care.

Hello and welcome.
If you fancy a trip out to meet some fellow enthusiasts we have a monthly breakfast meeting at the AV8 cafe on Kemble Airfield on the last Saturday of the month. We have a couple of guys who come from your neck if the woods.
Come along - we'd love to see you!
(PS. We're not precious! If it's a wet day and you'd rather not get your car out of its warm dry garage then come in something else. We'd love to see your car but if it's just you that's fine too!)

Hi XKRGlen,
You might want to take a look at KWE (http://www.kwecars.com/category/jaguar-xk8/) in Thatcham (just east of Newbury). While they are XJ-S specialists they are now providing services for XK8/XKR owners. I have not used them myself but they have a good reputation in the area (I live fairly close by).

Thanks for the recommend Fishy, may have seen you around Hungerford ? May need to take it there soon, as it has developed very annoying squeaking noises from the front end on bumpy ground, sounds like bushes or suspension springs, any suggestions > It has 103k on the clock

Bushes or shock absorber mountings are definitely favourite items to suspect first. Good luck getting it fixed. These things can be so annoying, can't they? Mike.
