JEC mag holiday offer
Moderators:Aceman, ecosselynx
Hi all, just received my monthly JEC Magazine with an additional envelope containing a holiday offer for next January. Looks great but i suggest that anyone considering the deal to ensure you check out the independent reviews on the operaor online, not those on the operator website.

Re: JEC mag holiday offer
A couple of years ago my wife responded to this same companys adverts, purely speculatively.
She has been bombarded with sales info on a regular basis ever since and we suspect by many other companies who may have bought her details from them. Maybe with the new data laws they have stopped doing this but on principle we would never use them.
I imagine the club is gaining financially from their involvement, I've no problem with that but as with all cold advertising, be aware.

Went straight in to the bin.

It is a generic offer that often pops up. It went from my hand to the recycling bin in the blink of an eye.....

They pay for those inserts. I take issue with the use of the JEC's logo and name as if my, as in I pay for being a member of my "Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club" (note the possessive apostrophe there) is endorsing the holiday services provided.
My wad of paper went into the re-cycling... as I'm so trendy and with it nowadays
Besides which I didn't want to be "fined" by loony Labour Lewisham for putting green re-cyclable paper into the green coloured bin (that's only for plastics apparently... <shrug> )

Doherto,
I don't who is the operator as, like many others, it went straight in the bin. However, if you feel that there is a lot of negative publicity concerning the operator, it would be really helpful if you could ring HQ and bring this to their attention. I am sure that the club management would only wish to be involved with reputable companies.
